    • A look at Pure Turbos Stage X F10 M5 & F13 M6 full Garrett S63TU turbocharger upgrade

This is not your typical hybrid S63TU turbo upgrade. What is tentatively being referred to as the Pure Turbos Stage X turbocharger upgrade for the F10 M5 and F13 M6 is a complete turbo upgrade with new housings.

BimmerBoost member @allmotor_2000 who is gunning for 8's in the 1/4 mile is getting these turbos on his F10 M5.

This includes a custom manifold, custom downpipes, custom wastegates, and a custom JB4 BCM setup per-bank for boost control.

The turbos themselves are ball bearing Garrett GTX3XXX mirrored units. That means one is reverse rotation.

Then of course there are all the custom lines for water and oil.

What will all of this cost? What kind of power can we expect? We'll know once it is done.

      Size comparison to stock:

Haha at that size comparison. Pure Turbos ftw. This car is going to be an animal along with Pure's M6.

Nicely done. So which of those four units are the ones in the picture?

Someone needs to shove the s63tu into the e46 m3.

That is bad ass. Are they keeping the signature s63tu "cross bank manifold" , regular twin scroll turbo/manifold, or single scroll manifold/turbo ?

Very impressive...I always thought mirror turbo's were patented by Nelson Racing Engines so I was very thrown off by that first pic!

IIRC it has to be cross bank because of the O2s.

Yes - unless the entire fuel management is changed it has to remain cross bank

Are they still twin scroll is an interesting question. Which turbine housing is it is also an interesting question. Twin, twin scroll GTX3071rs would be badass though.

If all goes well I plan to do Shift-S3ctor Oct 28th and NFZ CA the weekend after... it won't be done for NFZ AZ, although Pure's M6 should be there... same setup but stock engine

Can you elaborate on the turbos?

Right but it fits and they can do an S63.

Awron has electronics to facilitate the swap.

Makes sense I would love to see the custom manifold you guys made using the cross bank architecture. This should also keep the inherent cross bank manifold strengths of better turbo spool/efficiency and the signature sound.

These pictures are pornographic, this thing is going to rip. And given that it's still twin scroll and cross-bank, with the hot vee I'm sure lag will still be minimal. This engine is going to be a monster for many years.
