Mercedes planning AMG version of the next generation GL

The next generation GL has been spotted testing in camo. Spyphotos are usually pretty boring not revealing much. However, the interesting news here is that it seems Mercedes is readying an AMG version of the next generation GL. This isn't officially confirmed but the source of the photos (
gmotors) is reporting they have sourced telling them the new twin turbo 5.5 liter V8 will be powering the AMG version. Seems Mercedes will have a new segment of very large performance SUV's.
