    • Pure Turbos Stage 2 N54 hybrid E90 335i AT runs 11.1@129 1/4 mile

This is the same car that you recently saw pull what is said to be a C6 Z06 with a cam upgrade. It also was involved in a controversial video against another hybrid N54. Well, the timeslip provides context on the car and its performance.

This is clearly a well dialed-in hybrid 335i:

      - Pure Turbos Stage 2
      - FBO
      - E30 blend
      - JB4
      - Stock HPFP
      - Custom flash
      - Stock motor
      - Stock AT

This was achieved with roughly 27-28 psi. The owner states he intends to go to the track seeking a 10 second slip but that will likely have to wait for conditions to cool in California.

It seems a lot of hybrid N54's are bunched up around that 11 second and 130 mark.

No meth, no port injection. I'm shocked. Surely some auxiliary fueling for a 129 trap?

They claim stock direct injection system.

I'm skeptical too but that is what is provided.

Before @PureEvilN54 got his hands on this car, it ran 11.7 at 125mph. This car does have a stage 2 lpfp with no meth or pi.

On the other post it says stage 3 lpfp?

Dave@Fuel-It -> "I know the car is equipped with our standard stage 3
        LPFP"

Interesting if a hpfp can keep up as long as the lpfp is taken care of.

Pretty good. If he can get down to the 1.70sec 60' in cooler weather he should be able to nip a 10 sec pass on the same tuning.

Must have a ton of available fuel pressure then. Nice!

What's the trick for running 27-28 psi on stock auto? It will prolly last few more months?

Probably, especially with launching the car.

These cars need a stall and transbrake

Terry I can send you logs from these passes. HPFP is floating around 10 with a couple drops to 9 and quickly rebounding. Timing is about 14* without drops.
yall gotta tag me if you have questions because I'm not on here daily.

rob@rbturbo For sure and this car should be able to hit 1.65-1.70 range with his setup. We have cut it do an 11.0 just by starting in second, but his flash needs to be revised for that kind of launching. But hey finally got him to do it lol. Currently the car is in the shop for some subframe work and impeding progress.

We know what he needs to get there. Should be a hit next track day. Hopefully it's cooler too like you said.

If anyone would like to inspect the car, let me know I'll set it up. It's in the Bay Area.

Edit: this 11.1 runs were clean. Our 11.0 run(on a different day) had bad fuel and was not clean, lead to timing drops and a misfire on top. Owner bought lower octane race gas against my advice and was not pretty, I'm sure it cost him 10s. I have logs from both runs.
