    • Vargas Stage 2 upgraded E92 335i N54 vs. Pure Turbos Stage 2 E92 335i N54 roll on

People love to see race videos for real world comparisons but it is also important to note that hardware can vary wildly based on the application. Tuning alone is a huge factor. What we have here is an E92 335i which is the camera car and it is equipped with Pure Turbos Stage 2 N54 turbochargers.

It is tuned by someone named Pure_Evil_Tuning who tunes in Southern California. Obviously, this video is posted to show the quality of his tuning. It certainly seems the camera car is running well.

The VTT GC equipped car gets pulled which with E85 and Port Fuel Injection in theory should not happen. Both are stated to be at 25 psi but who really knows if that is true.

A rematch with more details would be great to see.

EDIT: Somebody tried to pass the VTT car off as a GC upgraded car. It is running the Vargas Stage 2 N54 upgrade at 19 psi. Additionally, the car has some compression issues.

A real comparo would be nice but the truth is it's darn near impossible to get two cars that are close tuning, VE wise, etc

GC's with 25psi should make mid to high 600s on E85. That would mean the Pure car is making almost 700whp? Maybe, but probably not on 25psi.

Yes and way less traffic so they can get a decent run.

Don't think this shows anything. Just that the pure car is better setup and tuned. Click here to enlarge

Sounds like camera car is auto but we don't know the other one.

Let's get these guys to reveal their full specs and do some real runs.

Um........ Ok so, remember the post about the stage 2 test car with 3 low compression holes, that I sent back to the shop. Yes this is that car the night he got it back. So we have a stage 2 car with 3 low holes running the low tune or 19 psi, yes thats 19 psi ( I have the logs from this run) against an AT car running much more than 25 psi, that just ran a 11.1. How the details of this post are such bull$#@! is beyond me. Sticky, please the title of this post, everything in it is 100% wrong including every last detail

You have to understand I just went by what the guy tuning said. As I wrote no way of knowing if it is accurate.

I'll edit the details in. Best thing to do is have your customer run again when at full strength.

I think people passed this vid around specifically because the car is running gc's.

Posting those logs is smart too.

        This guy is manual?

Actually it was Tony in the shop car with 2 sets of GC's and a 200 shot of nitrous. He's just embarrassed he got beat.
