    • Forza Motorsport 7 supports 4k resolution and has over 700 cars (including Porsche)

We all love cars or we would not be here. The problem is high end cars are expensive and it is not like we have our own private racetracks to play on. Forza Motorsport likely is the closest one will get to having a garage full of exotics that can be raced 24/7.

The new game certainly looks spectacular and has a hell of a lineup. As the Electronic Arts monopoly on the Porsche license finally expired Forza Motorsport will contain a full Porsche lineup. This alongside Ferrari, Lamborghini, and even large semi trucks.

4k resolution is supported with the upcoming Xbox One X. If you do not know what that is here is a quick little overview of the new console:

If you want it look as good as it does in the trailer below you will need the new Xbox One X and a 4K TV. You can also opt for the PC version of course.

Expect the game October 3rd on Xbox One and Windows 10. November 7, 2017 on Xbox One X.

Go PC or go home. Something tells me you like to tinker with things and there is really no comparing PC and console gaming if that is the case. I am really excited to see this one coming to PC.

Of course but why can't I have both? Sometimes I like to play against friends on the TV. Easy to sit and play sports games for example like Fifa that way.

Ah, fair enough. I've considered getting a Ps4 once or twice, but figured I'd rarely use it. I already have a gaming PC hooked up to my big screen to take care of my increasingly infrequent urge to play something. PUBG has changed that recently, though Click here to enlarge

I have a PS4 and I'm not that happy with it. The graphics are ok but I want something that does 4K or why else have a 4k TV? The PS4's power was overblown and I hate the PSN store functionality. I just want to go back to the MS camp. Plus I like the Microsoft controllers better too.

Forza is just icing on the cake.

There has been quite a few free dlc and more than a few paid dlc all of which have been good for the price. If you're super cheap cracked paid dlc works online still.

The other night I played Assetto Corsa in my friend's home built racing sim it was so awesome.
Occulus Rift and a whole cockpit with shifters and pedals and really nice wheel sitting in almost F1 seating position.
Really felt like the real thing but having a tilting setup to feel the Gs would be the tits

That sim with an occulus rift would be almost indistinguishable from reality. I bet you could become a much better driver pretty quickly.
My background is in controls specifically closed loop coordinated motion controls like what is used in those tilting simulators, making one of those is my long term goal.
I have a customer that makes those big airplane simulators that tilt like that, the controls aren't too crazy to program honestly.
