• HPF M3 loses control at the strip

We just received these videos of an HPF turbo M3 which lost control at the Irwindale 1/8 mile strip and ended up going into the wall. The car looks like it is running bias-ply slicks with radial street tires up front. This may have contributed to the driver losing control as the general rule is not to mix due to instability up top. Additionally, once the car starts to sway it looks like the owner stays in it and then tried to brake too late which causes him to lose it. Hopefully we will have more details on the car and the setup soon.

930chas. My main reason for not hitting the strip is lack of funds if something breaks. Lol
I would probably try it but it's not really my thing. My times would be terrible just from
me being inexperianced at drag racing.

I think I'm going to stick to re11 or r888. I would love to squeeze some 40s in ther rear. Taller tire might help. I was thinking of trying once I get my 18s.

You may need to try a 17 for that.

Seems everyone universally hates this guy, wow. I don't know him well enough to comment but if you two are racing that would be great to see. Is he local to you?

Not interested in 17s. With some fender work maybe a 40 would work. I'm no expert. How tall would a 18/40/275 be??? Yea forcefed makes me want to ake the hpf badges off my car. Sometimes that dude makes no sense. It was the diff!! Lol
