    • Most powerful E82 1M - 773 whp Doc Race 6466 single turbo top mount N54

To BimmerBoost's knowledge this is the most powerful E82 1M out there. It comes from Sports Mind in Bahrain which is a Doc Race dealer. The 773 peak horsepower is nice but look at the torque curve. The spool and shape is incredible.

This is with 34 psi of boost on VP C85 fuel:

      Beautiful.

It has to be a ton of fun to drive although some BimmerBoost members are questioning the spool. Just an incredibly well done 1M.

The final result was 773hp/707tq with peak torque at just past 3Krpm

Not bad! Lets get a better graph with torque on there.

Great results, I loved my Doc single kit. I miss it so much, the new 335is that i got last month is begging for a single upgrade. I will be bugging you soon John for another setup.

Hell Yeah!! So glad to hear you got another N54 and obviously the 335is is the beast of them all. Looking forward to working with you again.

Wow... that tq curve doesn't look like a big single. 500 lb-ft before 2500, 600 lb-ft at 27xx? insane. were they using rolling anti-lag?

Yea, I have never seen anything like that out of a single, much less a 6466. Was there any N2O or trickery in play to get that spool?

Seriously? It's the line on the dyno graph that is the higher line on the left side of the graph.

Its on the first post on the Dynojet graph.

Great results Doc Race - never seen torque come in so low on such a large turbo on an N54. Almost shocked and in disbelief Click here to enlarge

yeah, something doesn't add up here but interested to hear more about it and see some on-street spool vids and acceleration.

This would certainly be the most competitive single overlay for the GCs...

That's cute. Another 75whp and you can match what a twin turbo did on pump fuel and 9 psi less.

I just wasn't used to that graph, so I thought the scaling was off for torque. Until I read 700wtq, then I guess it is scaled correctly. Just looks like an outlier dyno to me then.

You can't really compare that. Tonys motor had headwork to aid that. It would be better to compare to the stock head when it was at 32psi IIRC. @Tony@VargasTurboTech

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this the strongest 1M?

If memory serves we tuned this one. Had a few little problems too that correcting would further improve things.

We never needed 32 psi to make that power stock head or not, I would have to look, but the 800+ we ran on the stock head was around 26 psi at peak power, and yes eh eh ron is correct, on $2.29 fuel we get from the gas station up the street. Either way these numbers are good, but as you say payam. Outlier for sure, no chance a 6466 is making 700WTQ at 3000 rpm without help from something. I mean I guess if you dyno'd in 6th gear you may be able to load it up that hard down low...??

I would LOVE for that graph to be achieved 100% legit, but my bull$#@! detector is pegged. It is not the horsepower or torque, but the spool that does not seem to make conventional sense, particularly with that size turbo.
