    • Stock 2015 BMW F10 M5 S63TU vs. JB4 tuned 2016 F10 550i N63TU

BMW F10 M5 performance for a fraction of the cost? Basically, although this 550i actually outperforms the M5. How is that possible? Well, take a look at the BimmerBoost article from last month with the dyno results from this JB4 tuned 550i which show 621 lb-ft of torque at the wheels.

Despite the 550i not having the M5's dual clutch transmission its torque advantage allows it to pull fairly easily.

The M5 camera car has a JB4 tune as well although it is disabled for this run so it is effectively running on the stock tune. It sure would have been interesting to see how the JB4 tuned M5 stacked up against the JB4 tuned 550i.
