    • An E46 M3 with an S85 V10 swap (on factory computers) makes for an incredible drift car

Now this is an engine swap we can get behind. Actually, BimmerBoost covered this swap by Kinetechnik Motorsport way back in 2011. What makes it particularly impressive is not just the 5.0 liter S85 V10 under the hood but that they did the swap with factory BMW computers.

BMW's own software reads the car as an E60 M5. Impressive, right? Well, not only is the work and electronic integration well done the car is simply incredible on the track.

The engine sound is obviously glorious. It also has no trouble turning its rear tires into smoke at any time.

The car now competes on a pro drift circuit and by the looks of things, is doing quite well.

I need to know how they ran the exhaust on this car, there's an awesome even-order harmonic that I've never heard on any S85 car before. Want my M5 to sound like this...

You can't. The V10 into the E46 and E9X has been done by several people but it's hardly common.
