      Brabus is a tuner with a great pedigree. They are able to deliver cars that are almost Mercedes OEM in nature. They demonstrated their ability yet again by being the first to have a tuned car pass the stringent Euro VI emission regulations. This standard does not even go into effect until 2014. The plug and play Brabus tune raises the horsepower of the S350 diesel by 54 hp to 308 with torque going from 457 pound-feet to 509. This is available for all 350 Bluetec models.

        Nice job, Brabus. I'd wondered if tuning was available for the Bluetec models. Any word on how much (if any) this may hurt MPG?

        And... does anyone know why you can't get a diesel (non-SUV) with AWD? MB, BMW, Audi... none of the diesel sedans or wagons are available with 4matic, xdrive, or quattro AFAIK. Bummer.
