    • DCT Build Part VIII - Putting it back together

As of right now, the transmission is completed and the cooling system is in the process of being completed. Where we left off was the car being taken to SSP for the build of the cooling system. To make this all make sense we will not skip ahead, instead showing you each step. Here SSP is getting ready to put it together with the new clutch discs. They laid out all the parts and used 3d scanning equipment to record them to aid in the production of the parts. Everything was laid out to make sure the parts were clean and accounted for. Additionally, they were working on prototype viton seals for the transmission. The next update will have details on the cooling system.

You were going to Gintani last week Sticky.
What happened there, and what has been done to the car in the last week?
        When will it be ready?

You assume? O man, this is not gonna end any time soon, now is it...
Tell me, do the Gintani people at least have all the parts in stock to at least finish this part of your build without more delays?

Here is a shipping number for the trans oil cooler fans which have been shipped to Gintani by SSP: http://www.stamps.com/shipstatus/sub...00940660776673

Once they get the fans, they will relocate the trans cooler and run the lines and such all themselves. Once that is done we should see the motor in and the SC installed and tuning taking place. It is not out of line to think this will be done next month.

        NOW STFU.

See Sticky, the way $#@! gets done is like this.

Step 1) Dial SSP's phone number

Step 2) Ask for a $#@!ing tracking number for the shipment so you don't have to wait until the end of the business day Monday to find out that the $#@! really did'nt ship out. (anyone want to take bets on this)

Squeeky wheel my friend, squeeky wheel...You're too passive, you're getting owned by these tuners. Let them know you mean business and they will make $#@! happen, if $#@! doesnt happen smear their $#@!ing names like soft butter on toast.

Don't want to piss Sticky off, though he couldn't do much about the delay without joining a fight, he could manage things better. Buy sending the trans to SSP and sending the car to Gintani and getting these builds occurred at the same time.
