    • GWA tuning creates a modern take on classic Mercedes design, the Mercedes Pagoda

GWA tuning has been doing some very interesting things with Mercedes modification. You may remember their take on the Mercedes C111 from a few weeks back. The Pagoda is based on a classic Mercedes W121 chassis with a Mercedes 190 2.3 serving as the donor car. The final product is one of a kind with retro and modern muscular looks rolled into one. The powertrain is taken from a Mercedes C43 AMG so it has a a 4.3 liter M113 V8 with a 5 speed automatic. Very well done GWA, but we have to ask, how much $?

I would like a quad exhaust with a V8 personally but I'm sure they could do anything you want them to do.

Absolutely gorgeous, I asked them how much $ this is but I'm scared to find out.

Well, if it uses a donor car and available parts from older Mercedes (like the C43) maybe it isn't too bad.

I want one, I really want one.

Heh, if this thing doesn't require trading in kidneys, sure.

Price is 100,000 euros although one can purchase the body kit separately, interesting.

Ok, the body kit itself is not too bad:

The body kit that would include: front spoiler, rear valance, side skirts, side vents and the grille insert is 3,200.00 Euros, all the parts are made on Hybrid Aluminum Composite, and the grille in aluminum.
Wonder why they quote the price in euros when they are based out of Texas?

Because the parts are made in Europe. The US price would consistently change based on the Euro(their cost) vs USD exchange rate. Quoting Euros keeps it simple.

Did not know they were made in Europe, that makes complete sense.
