    • HPF Stage 2.75 turbo E46 M3 hits 754 wheel horsepower

Horsepower Freaks Stage 2.75 is a recent development. The stage 2.5 as many of you know is a built motor and has seen numbers on methanol and race gas just under the 700 whp mark. Stage 2.75 differs from the 2.5 by offering a different turbo as well as the HPF 4" exhaust that is used on the Stage 3 as well. 754 whp is impressive and we congratulate HPF on a job well done. More power clearly isn't necessary so how about that 10 second slip already?

What, a full drag Honda? That isn't a realistic representation. And 8.9 for 179 isn't good.

A intake tune exhaust z06 traps 132 making about 480-495whp. My buddies 580whp N/A C6 z06 trapped 144 on a full slick and front runner. The s4 weights that much made that power on a dyno dynamics hub dyno and is a six speed car.
Uh, bud, they have cut 1.6's.

Was about to say, my 3,800 lbs 1968 Coronet with about 700HP turned a 1.6 60 foot on a 9" slick and nothing but a pinion snuber (no ladder/4 link)

Yeah i am for real lol... I know how much power it takes to do what in a car... Now since you mentioned it was a DD dyno, then the power makes a little more sence but that has to be the lowest reading DD i have ever seen lol...if you do the power to weight calculations that does not add up at all for that power...

My old Roomates Bone stock 2007 Z06 put down 465whp on a Dynojet...it was a consistent 11.2-11.3@125-126 on a few cold nights it did trap 128 but it was a useless pass cuz the track sucked.... He then added a Cam, Long tube's and an E85 tune and ended up making 587whp on the same Dynojet... he ended up going 10.9@132 but his best trap was 134... So i am not talking out of my ass here.. this dynojet does not read high either, its almost right on for my power/weight and trap speeds...

My current roomate works at probably on of the betten known EVO/DSM shops in the USA.. English Racing... They are home of the worlds fastest Auto AWD Talon that has been 8.6X@167mph...they also have the highest HP on a Stock Evo turbo that made 525whp(yeah out of a 42lb turbo lol) a 3500lb evo that makes 650whp(Dynojet power) will trap mid 130's, thats just what it takes... im not doubting that those cars went that fast, just saying that the numbers they make do not make scene thats all

In the past 3 years i racked up this: Click here to enlarge

right around 624 passes all in the same car.. Ranging from BONE stock 16.4@87 to what it is now 10.62@137 (1.62 60 ft and i have STOCK shocks with ebay coilovers and the car is Corner balanced within 2lbs on the front tires) i am at the track EVERY weekend when it is open, like i said i know cars and what it takes to run what...

Sadly Honda's work against physics, weight transfer goes to the back...

The car you are talking about was probably Chris Miller's from NRG tech, which is currently the fastest "Outlaw" car out there (outlaw is just a class that tons of honda's compete in, you are limited to weight which is 2450lbs, turbo size 72mm and smaller and tire size which is 26x10..other than that its pretty much anything goes.... His best pass was 8.3@178 with non wheelie bars and a 72mm turbo @ 2500lbs... Yes his mph is up there, and if it had wheelie bars or if it was rwd trapping that it would be mid to high 7's... but you cant put 1200whp down in the 1/8th in a FWD car... it just doesnt happen...

        Here is his video:

Battam3, if you got any questions feel free to pm me... im a honda guru lol.. had a 440whp Stock block Gsr 2 years ago so i know a bit about them lol

I'm pretty confident I can get into the 10's though.

You forgot weight. F1 cars don't weigh much. Actually using a F1 car for any comparison to a street car is not a good comparison imo

If you look at drag cars suspensions there is no play in them. They just shoot out the whole. Not gonna happen in an IRS car though lol

Yes, you are correct that you want to be in the top of the gear, but the final gear ratio is not optimal. The transmission gears are too high. That is why you have a high MPH but a lower ET.
Must benzes have sub 3.0 rears and yet they manage to do ok in the 1/4. Torque and power under the curve along with an auto does wonders

A 1.8 sixty foot can be achieved fairly easy even if the diff is like glass. Ive seen z06s roll off the light like there at a stop light and make 1.8 sixty foots on street tires. Look MHP's 10 sec C63 only cut a 1.8 sixty foot and ran tens at 130 with a lot more weight and about 200whp less then evil robs car.
Dom was cuttin 1.5 60's and Mike was cutting 1.6 60's. Where do you get these numbers???

I don't know, they are set up to offer the best possible weight transfer.

That red EG and the car i posted are 2 different cars.. what are you trying to say lol...

The red car was on 24.5" slicks.. to run 8's on that size tire is not easy

i call bs, either its lighter than that, made more power than that, track was messed up or it did 630 through an Auto...? The power to weight does not add up to that trap...

A 650whp Evo that weighs the same will do mid 130's...well i guess they weigh more like 3400-3500 but still... Hell a 600whp new Z06 will trap 132-134 and they weigh alot less than 3600
U got ur info wrong an evo making 650awhp will run mid 9s @ 150 all day. Don't believe me check out youtube and search ams evo bad bish...street car with no slicks
