      Horsepower Freaks Stage 2.75 is a recent development. The stage 2.5 as many of you know is a built motor and has seen numbers on methanol and race gas just under the 700 whp mark. Stage 2.75 differs from the 2.5 by offering a different turbo as well as the HPF 4" exhaust that is used on the Stage 3 as well. 754 whp is impressive and we congratulate HPF on a job well done. More power clearly isn't necessary so how about that 10 second slip already?

        What?! That is insane! I want to see who can properly launch one of these...they'll hit 10s for sure! (or they'll be sitting in a plume of smoke)

        It isn't a necessary a proper launch as much as subframe/driveline issues.

        The E46 is really weak in this department, namely compared to the E92.

        This car properly launched on proper rubber should be deep into the 9's.

        Damn what turbo they using? laggy but 750whp at 23psi is very nice

        Not sure exactly, it is pretty laggy though but once spooled it holds well.

        Black E, they use Billet 67's/71's and 76's


        2.5's are supposed to have a 67mm...judging by those pics it looks like a 71 tho


        Man that one graph that shows a huge dip in the power up top is not good.. something was wrong there.. i mean if you look at the graph it clearly shows had it kept going up it wouldve made power

        I am trying to figure out the breakdown.
        Turbo...$1500
        Full Exhaust...$2,000
        Tune...$750
        Fuel Pump...$200
        =$4450 Full retail price

        Where is the other $3,000+ ?

        Exactly, this should run 9's. Nope, nobody in the 10's, kind of sad really.
        I have quite a bit of drag racing experience. I use to bracket race a 10.20 car. I will admit I was a transbrake guy so I'm not sure how I'm going to do with a manual.

        I'm pretty confident I can get into the 10's though.

        I would have full confidence in you and feel your car in particular is an easy 10 second ride. The limitation in my mind has always been the rear end of the E46 as no one is willing to do what it takes to get these cars to hook with a strong launch.

        You raced a car that was easy to drive... Going from an Auto/Transbrake cookie cuter setup car to a 6 speed wheel hopping machine... 2 very different cars....

        But 10's should have happened along time ago for these cars... all of these HPF drivers must suck lol
