    • Syvecs shows large gains over ESS tune on VT2-625 supercharged E92 M3 with their S6Plus ECU

Great results here that show just part of the advantage Syvecs standalone E9X M3 S65 V8 engine control system offers. As many of you know, this ECU in its BMW E9X M3 application (which supports the DCT gearbox) has been in development for a while.

More and more people are starting to run the Syvecs engine management system on E9X M3's including in forced induction applications. The example here is an ESS-Tuning VT2-625 supercharged S65.

Now, it is important to note the tune that comes with the ESS kit is a canned tune meaning the same software for each application. A custom dyno tune will pick up large gains and with the additional capability the Syvecs S6 offers a skilled tuner can extract massive gains without changing the boost or fuel.

      Just look a the result:

Another 46 horsepower at the wheels. That is just from superior tuning alone. Also, keep in mind the correction factor on the Dyno is set to 1.0 meaning no correction.

The S65 V8 BMW application from Syvecs certainly looks promising.

In addition to the power gains, the quality of the curve speaks volumes. Pair this with all the ancillary benefits that come with a standalone EMS (like improved shift speed, better traction control strategy, flexfuel, true fuel system upgrade), and you've got a very potent setup. Would love to see what this can do for the stock motor TT system.

        What's the E9x M3 Syvecs pricing?

Without just saying 5k $ it would be a lot better if you just asked. It's a lot less than that.

Also asking permission to use our photos and dyno plots would have been in order......... At least when nicking them you could have given us credit for the awesome tune etc.

It's been a while and the car is undergoing massive changes. We're close to being done with a custom made twin EFR7163 kit on it and we'll see what it does next.

Needless to say that in the above comparison we already asked ESS for a custom tune which they did but said there would be no warranty. If compared to the stock ESS tune its more like 60-75 bhp over when using Syvecs and same hardware configuration.

Better quality of the curve in mainly due to fine tweaking of Vanos timing and ignition timing and fueling.

First of all, I think assumptions on your part are unwarranted.

The graph and pricing was sent to me directly by Syvecs. Why would I bother with asking you when I went straight to the source?

You're bumping something from 2016. You can always e-mail me and ask but it seems you're simply asking for credit after the fact. Syvecs never even mentioned EPD once.

You're more than welcome to speak to me directly but accusing me of stealing something from you when Syvecs provided it I do not appreciate.

I have set your account to the guest vendor tier, thanks.

If it is the case that you got all your stuff from Syvecs then I sincerely apologize and it was indeed them who should've asked whether it could be used.

5k $ however seems quite high. I don't think it's that much but can't give you an actual price as each dealer's price is different hence Syvecs never posts prices anymore.

Taxes and other important fees make pricing strategies a lot different from country to country. We, CS racing are the sole dealer and tuner in Taiwan and probably one of the biggest dealers in Asia.

EPD Motorsports is another corporation which are a distributor for Syvecs through CS racing and sell a lot of other stuff and do very good PR and promo vids etc.

Me and EPD Motorsports were indeed under the assumption that these pics and vids were taken from Instagram.

Anyways.... It's not important anymore as it's indeed an old thread.

I can post up numbers and plots when we're done with the twin EFR7163 mods on this car. Having the Syvecs on it should make some crazy numbers but we're gonna keep it by the tail and opt for 700-800 figures first and make sure it's reliable before throwing everything at it.

I would definitely like to see that.
