    • Breaking: BMW 2.0 liter turbo 4 cylinder specs - 245 horsepower, 258 pound-feet

We still do not know what the internal designation for this motor is but we now know it is official and it is coming. The specs are 245 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This motor will first appear in the Xdrive28i when it comes on sale in the United States. The motor will be rated around 30 mph on the highway which improves considerable on the N52 it will be replacing. Compression is 10.0:1. More details to come shortly such as the designation, boost, redline, etc.

(Motor pictured is the BMW Mini turbo 4, not the motor discussed here)

They should put a 333HP version of this thing in that 2500lb Miata-type car they are developing.

Maybe turbo upgrades on it won't be so complicated though?

A fascinating discussion is definitely worth comment. I do think that you should publish more on this topic, it may not be a taboo subject but usually people do not speak about these topics. To the next! Cheers!!
