Here we have an initial dyno of the Cobb Accessport on the N54. The car used is a 135i 6-speed. The dyno is on 93 octane pushing around 15 psi of boost. No boost graph or AFR is included which we would like but we will take what they give us. The result for 93 octane pump gas only certainly is not bad but some, including BMS, are expressing concerns about the boost being pushed. This tune compares favorably with the Giac Stage 1. More details below:

I just talked to Doug about it. He said it ramps to 15psi then tapers on the top end to 12.5ish.
I'm wondering what niche this is going to occupy as GIAC already has a bit of a following in the flash area. I think this is promising though, we will see what they do on race and where they can take it.
The Cobb AccessPORT (AP) contains more than one map. As of now it contains Stock, Stg1 91 Octane, Stg1 93 Octane, and a Valet map. As we release maps for more heavily modified cars they can be added to the AP at any point and flashed in ~60 seconds anywhere (Think the gas pump). We are planning to support maps up though the most common bolt-ons and potentially for some turbo kits.
The AP as of now has a built in shift light, gauges, data logging, 0-60 and 1/4 times, read and clear DTCs, and reseting of the ecu. More features are planned in the future as we further develop support for the platform.
Integrating meth fail safes into our product is not currently available, but we will be adding it in the future.
The AP has a Recovery Mode which can continue the flash in the event a cable is pulled or some other catastrophic event that may happen during a flash. There is little worry of hurting the ECU.
Tuning software in the form of AccessTuner Pro (For qualified tuners with a dyno available) and AccessTuner Race (End-user custom tuning) are on the way.
if you ask me thats too much boost for a stock car. yeah you hit those numbers first 3rd pull but you will heatsoak straight away. Seems they are trying to show high numbers straight away with aggressive calibration to win customers.
Might be they will lower on newer map the boost calibration .
Def interesting, didnt expect them to go this agressive, but they def. have to fill in big shoes... Of course they have to go hard or go home, if they come out with low numbers no1 is gonna take them serious.
Sounds like they already have a good strategy set up. I like the 0-60 and 1/4 timers built into the software. The flashing speed is also very quick. The N54 market is becoming more and more interesting every day!
