      Autoblog is reporting that the ML63 production has ended. This ML generation continues on until the next gen set to come in as a 2013 model but the ML63 AMG is no more. Does this mean we will not get a new AMG model until the next generation? Based on ML precedent, yes, but Mercedes often breaks precedent. Either way, if a new engine makes its way in or not, this ML63 is done.

        I'm switching to an ML for DD. When they told me the base price for the AMG, I said $#@! that.

        I wouldn't buy an M156 anyway. I'm actually trying to decide between gas ML350 or Blutec.

        Just depends on your priorities. Diesel has better MPG and torque but the 350 is a livelier motor and quicker.

        Well, I plan on DD'ing it and then buying a garage queen later this year. Both can tow a 22ft wakeboard boat so it's not a huge issue.

        Exactly, both will handle that no problem. Just up to you on your preference.

        If I'm going to spend a 100K on an SUV for performance, you better be damn sure it will be a 2011 Cayenne Turbo.

        I think I would agree with you, the 550 is a great choice.

        In my opinion that is the best on the market right now. Considering the trade of my Cayenne S in, although for an older Cayenne Turbo as a project car.

        Agreed, also comes at a much higher price now.
