    • Misfires continue to be an issue for the Vishnu Procede even after the V5 update

This video was sent to us anonymously. The reason for that is Shiv@Vishnu had seen the video and told the owner not to post it and the owner did not for fear of being punished, lack of support, etc. We happened to get this video which shows a V5 automatic misfiring even after the voluntary harness update and several times of cleared adaptations.

Notice the boost on the fuel gauge which drops to around or below the stock boost level yet the car still misfires. Misfires were also reported at the recent Atco rental by V5 users and other Procede users on BimmerBoost have mentioned issues with misfires as well. This issue is being brought to your attention as tremendous effort has been expended to keep it quiet on other sites. Come to your own conclusion and we hope Vishnu can resolve it.

may or may not be, but its the same issues that everyone before the "fix" was having. misfires -4th gr-past 6500rpm- and this is just yesterdays posts, that i saw within 5 minutes of eachother..randomly glancing. wonder what i will dig up if i actually go back a month since thats about how often i visit it

is it conclusive its still the tune? no, does it sound a bit too familiar to pre-"fix" tune related misfire issues? yeah, i think so..

I'm just curious if these are happening after the update that was purported to resolve it.

Uh oh, did that post burn a bridge?

And that idiot thinks he is banned as well?

Since it is still being worked on pretty irresponsible of folks to act like it was resolved and then try to get me to jump the gun.

This isn't the small problem that just shows up in odd cold weather conditions it was portrayed to be.

If it isn't resolved by now and the community has been aware of it for so long there is a potentially big problem here. With that said, I have confidence in Adrian/Haltech to fix it and for Shiv to take credit for it.

Repeatedly misfiring when trying to run all out at the strip is not healthy. Anyway, seems this isn't over but I believe they have the capability to fix it.

Alpine and I are friends as far as I know.

Shiv and the like make a good tune. My car is gone - it was misfire prone on the beta maps and he never got back to me.

$#@! happens with this car. It didn't seem to be the model of consistent reliability on any tune. If I had to run this car again I would not advance over 14.5 psi with FOB and meth (Being conservative here).

Alpine - thanks for all your help brother! Hope all is well with you!

Is this the reason for your car being gone?

Nope - sick of the N54 issues (fuel limited, injectors, hpfp, etc.). I didn't enjoy the lack of progress to make it a reliable car. If I could have done it over again - it would be an M3. However, I prefer a truck for my lifestyle.

I'm sorry for all the $#@! that I stirred up on the forums. It was honest - but - honesty doesn't clearly work on most forums.

It's ok man, not a big deal. You were doing what you thought was right, I can respect someone who stands by their convictions.

Might want to check the thread you made, everyone is curious what kind of truck you got.

maybe the tune is just afraid of Atco? TheMyst had no issues until his trip to Atco, Cuban335 had no issues until the trip to Atco Click here to enlarge

Shiv said it was only 5 people with the problem? Maybe he meant hourly?

Impressed the discussion has not been shut down / stifled yet.
