    • Update on 930chas's E-shift Performance 2JZ swap into E39 M5, car has dyno'd 762 whp at 30 psi

Justin Nenni from Tuning Concepts has been up at E-shift tuning the past couple days. Yesterday he tuned the car on 93 pump gas, and it made 585whp at 19psi. They have been working on it today with e85. Here is a video of one of the dyno runs. They are still working on it, but it just hit 762whp at 30psi on e85.

I just made a complete pass through the thread here and didn't see what trans he's running. Anyone know off hand?
Not sure, Tremec maybe? He is pretty good at getting back to people so I would say just wait for him to respond. Since it is a holiday replies are slow.

The OP browses frequently, just send him a PM or ask here if you have any questions.

Doohhh....sorry for the late response. I am running the factory supra v160 6 speed getrag transmission. It is badass. Shifts smoother then a stock m5 tranny and can hold 1000whp with no complaints.

I will be updating this thread with pictures (refinished LMs look so sweeettttt) and videos in the next week or two. Just been super busy.

What is the gearing like in that trans (i.e. freeway cruising RPMs)?

Looking forward to it, this is one of the best E39 builds I have ever seen. The car is ridiculously awesome, and yes, again, I'm jealous. I would just like to experience it at some point.

Just got off the dyno with a 7175, made 900rwhp/730rwtq at 35 psi.

        25psi, 30psi, and 35 psi all in 4th gear on a Dynojet.
Tuned by Chris Hamilton on an AEM EMS, motor built by Joe Hussain aka "Carchitect".

Precision billet 7175 journal bearing with a 0.96 exhaust housing
Motor has Carillo rods, Wiseco pistons, PE bearings
stock head with HKS 264's and PHR springs and Ti retainers, shimless buckets
HKS 4" exhaust, 4" downpipe, on a WOTM manifold.
ID2000cc injectors with 2 Bosch 044 pumps and teflon line setup.
Carbonetics triple carbon clutch and TRD LSD
Greddy 3 row intercooler and PHR breather kit
AEM EMS with a 3.5 bar sensor, FJO wideband and NTK sensor

        Attachment 6667
What motor is that on? I like what I see as the spool looks pretty decent. I will be running precisions Billet DBB 7685 so I'm glad to see that I should easily be able to hit my power goal with it.

This car will unfortunately be for sale. If you have any interest shoot me a PM. Nothing wrong with the car at all! Everything works and it is an absolute monster! Just times are tight in the construction industry and it doesn't look like I can afford to keep it.

Just a quick and yes, I am sorry extremely boringClick here to enlarge video showing start up and idle. It starts up instantly and settles into a nice 900rpm idle. All normal vehicle functions work as can be seen in the video, except for the oil temp gauge. A/C blows ice cold, navigation, stereo, mileage calculator, temp, etc all just like stock. Also, you can hear some of the clutch chatter in the video.
