• Manhart-Racing swaps an S63/N63 V8 Twin Turbo into the E92 M3

      Manhart-Racing is the first company to pull of a twin turbo V8 swap. They lifted the motor out of the X6 M along with the automatic transmission. The motor is tuned to 734 horsepower. In order to fit the motor which has its turbos top mounted, they increased the power bulge. We have no idea how much this conversion costs as that info has not been released but it is great to see someone actually pull this off, with proof.

        Wow....talk about a tight squeeze! That looks more shoehorned in there than an S85 in a Z4 or an E90..

        It does look pretty tight, but likely easier to do this than turbo the S65.

        it wold be worth it if you can put the DCT tranny with that instead of the regular auto i believe it is equipped with... then it would be a greater car.

        still looks awesome and im lovin the idea.

        Nobody seems to be able to pull off any swaps with the DCT, S85 or otherwise. Probably a tuning nightmare to get it to work...

        That auto is kind of a letdown for an M3 but likely the only way to pull it off.

        Probably could be done, as the N63 is mated to manuals but the S63 (which this is based on) has not been yet...
