    • Over 800 lb-ft of torque at the wheels from the OEM S63TU turbos? Evotech bolt on BMW F13 M6 dyno results

Evotech raised some eyebrows with massive torque claims from their Stage 2 S63TU ECU flash tune. Tune only they claimed 777 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. That number is now over 800 lb-ft at the wheels (1090 newton meters) with additional tuning and bolt on modifications.

The extent of the modifications to this F13 M6 is unknown. A Gruppe M carbon air intake system is clearly visible and one would assume for 803 lb-ft of torque at the wheels exhaust modifications are necessary. It certainly would be nice to get a list of the full specs.

Regardless, the numbers show 673 horsepower at the wheels and 1090 newton meters of torque at the wheels. How Evotech is getting such absurdly high torque figures is anyone's guess.

CRAZY, this should easily do low 6s 60-130 MPH..

Seriously.. why the "#¤# do they stop at 6500RPM? Looks like the powerband of the E63 M157 lol

Holy christ, what is with that torque...seems off almost. I mean, that's not really much more power than we've seen from other flash tuned S63 cars but a ton more torque....and yeah what's with that stopping at 6500 rpm or so...I guess maybe the numbers only get smaller from there on out but still...seems weird. That hp line just means it needs more turbo.

        This engine is ridiculous.

How much power do you estimate a direct injection 4.4L v8 will make holding 22psi to 7200rpm?

Exactly... I don't really understand it. Nobody is close to these torque figures.

It's hard to say if you will gain revving it out as it should drop hard. Assuming the torque curve holds (but it won't) the math would suggest 1096 horsepower with 800 lb-ft at 7200 rpm.

It was a rhetorical question, but thanks for that insight, it is valuable. Can't wait to see some strip and track runs with the new aggressive tunes....

Right now? Long week and no desire to go out. In general? Pursuit of info to make more power!

We are waiting for the result of 0-100 and 100-200. I am 100 percent sure that they are not very good))))

        What fuel?

I have no idea how they are getting these torque numbers.

I would assume one of two reasons...the numbers are BS, or that hard of a torque hit is just going to blow the tires loose 10 times out of 10.

For me, performance dyno stand for power measurement is not serious. I'm waiting time performance.
