• The BMW N54 hits a new peak horsepower record at 753 WHP with a custom Precision 6466 top mount setup

Congratulations to BimmerBoost member aflatau who managed to improve on his previous 701 wheel horsepower pull with a a 753 wheel horsepower pull setting a new peak N54 horsepower record in the process. This exceeds one of the previous N54 horsepower records set by Vargas Turbo Technology at 725 wheel horsepower. It is important to note that this record was set on a Dynomite dyno while Vargas used a Dynojet.

Why this is important is because the Dynomite tends to read higher. Obviously people understand that 753 wheel horsepower is a higher number than 725 wheel horsepower it is entirely possible the Vargas car would show more power if measured on the same dyno at the same time. This is one of the problems with comparing figures from different dynos with so many different dynamometers in the world there is no single standard that works across the board for everyone.

Regardless, this is a new peak horsepower record and hopefully we can compare Dynojet numbers to Dynojet numbers to get a better idea. The truth is power between the top N54's is very similar at the moment. Congratulations to @aflatau for pushing the limits with his custom setup and BimmerBoost is happy to have played a small role in this achievement with the use of the BimmerBoost flash software making it possible. Specifications and video below.

It's an FFtec kit, they're pricing is right on their website. Probably add ~$4k for install

wtf did I get negative rep'd for? And no, it is NOT an FFTEC kit. It clearly states in the OP that it is a "Custom Top Mount 6466 by John Donovan"

Edit: didn't watch the full vid before, but for those curious he stated 14-15k invested. Still interested in manifold details and pics if possible Click here to enlarge

These are bad ass numbers Adam! Nice work on the car! I do think when doing WR comparisons the numbers should be on a similar dyno. I had never heard of a Dynomite so I did a little research and if what I read can be trusted, they have been shown to read 10-15% higher than a DJ which while still awesome numbers would put it well below the current record. I am not saying this is the case or the numbers are not legit. I would just like to see DJ numbers to confirm it.

I didn't neg rep you dip$#@!, but thanks for giving me the neg rep, I suppose now I'll return the favor, will hurt you more than me. Many people that have an FFtec kit say they have a custom kit...well they don't. It was my understanding @aflatau had an FFtec kit, I may be wrong, but either way if you want an idea of pricing...it's there.

Just want to set the record straight publicly first I congratulate Adam in this power and achievement some have started a rumor that I said I make more power than him or I'm faster. It doesn't matter as we are on the same team here of custom kits. All I said was that I would like to see it on dynojet with the same corrections that terry, shiv, vargas and I use. That is the only way to make an accurate comparison. That statement in no way detracts from his car it's just common sense. The op car is a monster no doubt. And I'm excited we are all pushing the limits / records again now. And I expect more from his car, my car, other singles and the ptf kits very soon. Will be an exciting summer Click here to enlarge
