• BMW Finishes in 3rd place at Mosport Gran Prix - Falls out of 1st place

      The Rahal-Letterman racing team managed to finish on the podium yet again in the ALMS series. BMW has finished on the podium in every single race this season. The problem is they finished in third place and Patrick Long/Joerg Bergmeister in the Porsche GT3 won the race. This means Porsche will take over first place. Patrick Long and Joerg Bermeister have our respect as they simply have been the best drives in ALMS this season and have taken a couple races from BMW. Unfortunately, the number 90 m3 did not finish the race due to a collision. It all comes down to the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta on October 2nd. BMW most likely needs to win the race to win the championship.

        That same GT3 is so damn consistent. All the others pull up the rear, but they can't seem to shake this guy. It's all down to the wire now. A little luck and no wrecks would be helpful. Overall, BMW really has done exceptionally well with these cars. Click here to enlarge

        It is just those two drivers in the GT3, they are amazing. Patrick Long has stolen two victories from BMW by himself, guy is amazing. Long and Bergmeister will win the drivers championship.
