Thanks man, we always claimed the Black one was modded cause he was hanging with cars that many thought he shouldn't, lol ,but it was even with the Blue one, so apparantly not, plus he's one of the most honest cats I know, so I believe him. What's really interesting is his 620whp C5 Z06 is only a Tad faster than his C6 Z06. Check out how both of his cars do (SC'd C5 Z06 and C6 Z06) against the this Modded 996tt.

Interesting results!

I've ran with two other Z's, one stock and one modded, they were not as fast as the black and blue one's, could be the drivers. I am hoping they both get bolt on's so we can see. Even though 60-130, I ran a 7.06, a stock one 7.86, and a full bolt on one at 560whp, hit the same as me 7.06, I'm not so sure I'd run with a bolt on Z. These cars are just beasts. Although, no excuses, I did appear to be running slower than I should and over did it with the WM and 104 octane, next time I will just run 91 and WM.

Ricky, no worries Bro, so sorry about that, great seeing you, your car looks great, I know you did well against Mike on one run, but traction is his issue. Hanging with a C6 Z06 is no joke, especially if they can drive, and Ryan can flat out drive.

nice job drew, as always your car is really strong. im surprised about your statement regarding gas. on most fi cars running racegas vs pumpgas is a huge difference, with or without w/m. you say on racegas you were a half second slower, how could that possibly be? maybe what it is, is that your tune doesnt adapt to a stronger gas? can you change boost settings and timing when running a different gas? does the car's dme do it automatically?

Too much octane can burn slower plus no specific tune for it. When HPF cars run race + meth they run a different map. He was essentially running his 91 map. The ECU will only adjust so much.

thats what i had thought, so is there no way to switch maps on the fly? or if not switch with like a flashloader? if you run better gas its a waste if you dont take advantage of it, what options do you have?

The option to switch maps now exists thanks to OE Tuning. It is a matter of getting the tune and the EZ flash system.

When are you guys gonna get some Turbo E36s in your runs?

We don't really have many to choose from on the West Coast. Seems Turbo E36's dominate the east coast.

Thanks man, I hear you about the gas, but running 104 and WM at the sametime may have been overkill without increasing the boost. At 9psi, I never run just 91, always 91 and Meth. It appears the S65 does not adapt as much as the S54 ECU did. I do have a switcher, but I did not use it on these runs, I was just wondering if the higher octane value of running WM and 104 at the same was too much for at this boost level and timing, and it appears the ECU did not adapt on it's own, or I'm just overly obessed wtih Vbox results.

Thanks, I would really like that. I'm more than anxious to do so but still a long, long way to go. I'm not sure how much patient I can be, I want to get out there.

In the mean time, I'll keep enjoying seeing these vids.
