      This is BMW's 8th podium finish and they have finished on the podium in every race. Unfortunately, the BMW's did not have their best race with Bill Auberlin also crashing off road at one point. The racing was very tight but the M3's just never really got going with the tire grip being an issue. A 3rd place finish leaves BMW and Ferrari tied for first place. 3 more races to go, it is going to be tight down the stretch.
