    • 2014 Porsche 981 Cayman and Boxster GTS spotted finishing testing - Model reveal imminent

In October of last year PorscheBoost posted a leaked picture of the Boxster and Cayman GTS models. Porsche remains the master of artificially slotting in new models based on tiny horsepower bumps and some minor styling changes. The GTS models are expected to start in the $75,000 range and include PDK and PASM standard. For that money you also get a bump up to 340 horsepower which is conveniently 10 less than the 991 Carrera but a 15 horsepower bump for the Cayman S and 25 horsepower for the Boxster S.

Essentially, Porsche gives you the same motor they already do with some different software and some options as standard. For that they raise the price and make a buttload more money. A smart business move? Absolutely, especially considering the average buyer won't know they could save a bunch of money and already have the same thing.

Porsche will reveal the GTS models at any time now.

... they would then only sell 911's to old men and badge snobs.
