    • 1/4 mile and dyno results for a Eurocharged Stage I tuned F13 M6 - 581 wheel horsepower, 125 mile per hour trap

The S63TU twin turbo V8 is starting to show some strength even this early in its aftermarket development as a Eurocharged Stage I tuned M6 hit 581 wheel horsepower on a Dynojet. That is quite a lot of power from a Stage I pump gas tune along with AMS downpipes and a Gruppe M intake. This same M6 hit the drag strap and managed to reach an 11.6 ET with a 125 mile per hour trap speed. Very solid results from the new F13 M6 with bolt on modifications.

Now, with 581 wheel horsepower one would expect a bit more performance on the drag strip but the issue is the owner was running on large 21 inch rims and street tires. It is almost pointless to go to the drag strip when the vehicle is not prepped for it. This is a high torque, high horsepower rear wheel drive tubocharged V8 car. M owners struggle launching much less powerful M cars at the drag strip let alone one where so much torque hits so hard and fast.

Basically, it's a waste to show up on the strip with this vehicle without proper drag tires and wheels. Time then needs to be spent explaining to people who do not understand the impact of proper rubber as to how it correlates to the 60 foot time and then overall elapsed time. Those familiar with drag racing however will see the 60 foot times in the timeslips below and realize that even with a 1.7X 60 foot this car is in the low 11 second range and with some practice (and good weather) could break into the 10's.

      Video, dynos, and slip below.

LOL LOOKS LIKES ASTON MARTIN! That thing is much better than Aston Martin! I do like the way that m6 looks though it is sexy! If only the new Ms could hook up and get that power to the ground They'd make the competition very hard pressed to beat them!

I under stand the low ET due to the street rubber but that thing should be trapping higher than 125 putting down 580 wheel hp with a dct.

It would probably trap higher on better rubber as well. We also do not know what launch technique was used.

Yes I guess so he even trapped 122 on one run which a stock non competition package m6 should do. At least the s63tu is finally seeing good progress power wise someone just needs to throw on drag radials and run it in good weather

It'll get there the main thing is to show the power numbers as people were talking down on the tune for some reason on another forum.

I really love the new M6, doesn't have that S85 sound, but looks nicer, and performs better, that is IMPRESSIVE for what little mods are done. Well done, I want one!

I really think the M6 is capable of 10's with bolt ons. Somebody just needs to not be afraid to put some sticky rubber on it and launch the fat $#@!.

I think the point he was making over on F10 post was that he wanted to see what it would run as he drives it every day, which makes sense to me. Very impressive. These cars are not to be fcked with.

agreed...plus he is new to the scene if you can't tell by his posts lol!

Fastest I have seen a m6 stock trap was 118-119

In the every day setup you can't launch it from a stop which is what the strip is about. On daily wheels/tires you're really going to only be running the car hard from a roll.

I mean I go to the strip to see the car's capability.

Yeah good point. I can see both ways. I really am excited to see what it does properly set up.

I think I've seen faster but not sure...I know I've seen M5s trap way faster than that, around 123-124, bone stock. So I think an M6 should be capable of the same, if not maybe even a whole mph more. These things are very very fast.

I think PP-Performance have the best tuning for both M5/M6

Here is a timeslip from dragtimes.com for thier tuned M5, it did 11.4 @124.7 on street tires and wheels at a positive DA
        http://www.dragtimes.com/BMW-M5-Timeslip-25483.html
        Attachment 34140

Here is a video of the run:

The exact same car just recently ran an 11.3 @127. I will try and update you with a timeslip

The current M6 record holder at the Moscow Unlim is also tuned from PP-Performance with elapsed of time 27 seconds

here is a video from Moscow
