    • Evolve headers and Stage 3 Alpha-N tune dyno results on a E63 M6 S85 V10 - +51 wheel horsepower

Some great results here by Evolve Automotive on a naturally aspirated S85 V10 in a BMW E63 M6. With the Evolve headers and Stage 3 Alpha N tune the M6 gained 51 wheel horsepower. That's a peak of 446 to the wheels over the 395 wheel horsepower baseline. The headers with air filters appear to give 30 wheel horsepower although the graph is a bit small but that seems to be the right range. Very solid gains for the tune and the manifolds.

Keep in mind these numbers are on a Mustang dyno and this happens to be VAC's Mustang dyno. Timely results as just yesterday an article was posted showing the difference in numbers between the VAC Mustang Dyno and a Dynojet. In STD correction on a dynojet these results would likely be over 500 horsepower in the wheels. Probably a good amount over possibly making for a new naturally aspirated stock motor record so somebody should get this car on a dynojet for that reason alone.

Very impressive results here with the Evolve parts and tuning.

Very strong results on our heartbreaker. The car drove like stock, just a lot quicker - tuning was super smooth. It was a M6 cabrio, so it can only get so quick with all that heft Click here to enlarge

        PM me for Evolve parts!

Haha so cool that it's a cabrio. I bet it's hilarious fun to floor that car with the top down, the mafless sounds + headers have got to be one of the biggest ear fulls in the automotive industry.

I really like the M6 as a cabrio. Definitely cool to have a four seat German V10 drop top.

Drove a friends M6 vert top down with Evolve Stage 3 tune, Evolve race catless headers and full RPI GTS exhaust.. F*CKING epic is all I can say.. Especially considering he had his rev limiter set to 9000RPM. We did get the attention of every cop in the area though lol. For just a player a** amazing sounding car that can fit you and 3 females, i'd say M6 vert is a top choice of mine.

        Yup.. No BS.

He says "It revs to 9k.. Wrap her out". I'm thinking sh*t I thought the 8600rpm on my tune was pushing it.. Sure enough coming up to an overpass I see 9k on the tach just as we pass a cop walking up to a pulled over car on the other side of the highway. He literally jumped and spun to see wtf just destroyed his eardrums. In all honesty it was an accident as he was blocked by the overpass from my view. We couldn't help but laugh for a good half hour..

9k is really risky considering the rod bearing weakness in the S85's but he really didn't care.. Guy threw twin turbos on his R8 then traded it for a LP570 and threw the TT it now too.. Rarely am I jealous but man he's keeping it hard to keep up haha..

That's pretty tough to keep up with, respect thoguh.

If the rod bearings are addressed 9k seems like it can be done. I just wonder is he still making any power up there? Is there a point to revving that high? Sounds like he could use a set of cams.

One of our clients revs a 3.0L S54 to 9600 RPM. He is also building a S85, looking FW to some crazy stuff out of it!

        That's so sick!

I'd love to see a tach readout, is that possible by any chance?

Sucks I'd love to write an article showing 9600 rpm. But I understand, I don't get why their videos are always crap from that side of the world. It's like they record and edit with potatoes.
