    • What will the 2014 Porsche 991 Turbo Cabriolet look like? Something like this, picture renderings

The new 2014 Porsche 991 Turbo / Turbo S made its debut earlier this month with pictures and specifications released by Porsche. The coupe models will no doubt be followed by a convertible as they usually are. Expect the Porsche 991 Turbo to mirror the coupe which means the same 3.8 liter turbocharged flat-6 with 520 horsepower routed to all four wheels through a 7-speed PDK transmission. Same goes for the Turbo S Cabriolet model except horsepower will be 560.

The car looks great with its top dropped. The convertible should gain a little weight but being a soft top that should not be a huge amount. Pricing will carry about an $11k premium meaning the Porsche 991 Turbo should start somewhere around $160,000. The Turbo S Cabriolet will be closing in on $200k with a price somewhere in the 190's. That is definitely getting expensive but it will be hard to deny that car is not worth it.

      Renderings below.
