• The world's most powerful E92 M3, BimmerBoost.com Gintani Stage 3.5+ supercharged E92 M3 hits 773 wheel horsepower - Dynograph and video

The world horsepower record for the E9X M3 S65 V8 currently stands at 773 wheel horsepower and belongs to Gintani as well as BimmerBoost.com, just do not expect it to stand for very long. At Bimmerfest 2013 Gintani had the BimmerBoost.com project E92 M3 on display. They worked tirelessly to get the car ready for the event and took it to the dyno the night before. On MS109 race gas and 18.5 pounds of boost the car was able to hit 773 wheel horsepower with the completely stock DCT transmission slipping at 7250 rpm.

Looking at the dyno graph below it is easy to see where the clutches begin to slip. At about 4750 rpm the clutch slips a bit then grabs as the pull continues up to 7250 rpm where it slips again and is unable to hold the power as the car is run to its 8500 rpm redline. Regardless, 7250 rpm was enough for a new world record on the S65 V8 platform and overall on the E9X BMW platform.

Gintani will be rebuilding the cars DCT transmission and once that is complete the car will be back on the dyno for a clean run to redline and another world record. Looking at the graph, the car should conservatively be capable of ~830 wheel horsepower at 18.5 psi with MS109. What will it do on FTW Purple and 24 psi? We will eventually find out.

Enjoy the picture and graph below. There is a video included of the car at Bimmerfest 2013. A huge crowd was gathered around it. For some reason the announcer at Bimmerfest never notified the crowd that the world's most powerful E92 M3 was in the house and that a new world record had been achieved on the platform. I waited for hours for the announcement which was hand written and delivered to the announcer but to no avail. Additionally, the car did not win a single award despite being the E92 M3 on display that had the most work done to it. Perhaps it needed some tacky neon green trim and red roundels? Definitely odd and awkward considering the years of engineering that have gone into it and that Gintani was a sponsor of the event. Perhaps if a competitor was not the headline sponsor Gintani and this car would have received the acknowledgement that was deserved and earned?

Congratulations to Gintani on raising the bar to where nobody else on the platform is able to tread. This car is just getting warmed up.

@E90Company if they aren't going to allow the video then I don't want the pictures up. People will take those pics and start posting them elsewhere meaning BimmerBoost won't get its credit without the watermarks. So, please just edit the photos out and just say if people want to see the graph or photos they are on another site or search google for them.

You can always include a let me google that for you link: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=world%27s+most+powerful+e92+m3

They are gone, thanks. I appreciate you trying but they still want to pretend BimmerBoost doesn't exist which is fine. The text is enough to get people to go search for more info and pics.

I'm sometimes amazed forum posters still haven't mastered the art of using google...

You know what though? Screw it, other forums allow links to BimmerBoost so getting it up everywhere else won't be a big deal. M3post can eat my ass.

I tend to agree with you about car shows Sticky. For me, I don't enjoy them anymore and will likely stop going to them altogether. I've even seen money being exchanged for a win. Furthermore, the politics at some of these events ruins the entire atmosphere. Some people know about it, others don't care, and those fortunate enough are completely oblivious to it.

I definitely think that Gintani and your car should have been acknowledged at the event without a doubt. But since what I mentioned above always happens at small and large events alike, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that nothing was said. It's a shame really.

However, let the car do the talking. That will say enough at least IMO.

Men lie, women lie, numbers don't.

The cage was done a while back, you can see it in the car in the video.

I need to add the @rick@defiv parts to the rear end when I hit the strip. I need to get a set of custom 17's done so I can run bias-ply. I obviously need the trans done. Other than that, everything is good to go. Oh, need my racing seats installed as well.

I'm also toying with the idea of longer gears.

Regarding what is done, well, everything. Fuel system, meth, oil pumps, tranny cooling system, custom headers, custom exhaust, line lock, water/air intercooler, new manifold, bigger blower, forged pistons at 10.0:1, forged rods, new bearings, sleeved block, I mean it goes on and on. That's why comparing this to a car that has stitching matching its paint color is kind of idiotic. It's no comparison.

Exactly. And I'm trying single handedly to change the entire BMW forum culture and I feel like I'm the only one fighting for the enthusiast while everyone else is just collecting cash.

It would have been nice after such a long build and pushing the platform.

You're right but it's just absurd that at this point Gintani, my car, and this forum still don't get any respect.

It doesn't work like that, politics.

I mean what kind of a dickhead forum owner for cars cares about the sponsors more than the actual cars the people are there to discuss in the first place? This is what infuriates me. How can Jason be this big of a $#@!? Like absolutely no credit where it is due? Because you are butthurt I decided to start my own forum rather than continue to sit on one that edits/censors everything?

Grow up, respect the cars. It angers me people don't even see it.
