    • BMW E92 335i with upgraded turbos and a BMW JB4 tune versus a tuned Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 from a roll

Great race here between two cars that are closely matched. N54 owners will obviously enjoy seeing 335 beat an exotic as part of the appeal for the BMW 335 is affordable tuning. That's the reality of it and this 335 with a JB4 tune and upgraded RB turbos is able to be the ECU tuned Gallardo LP560-4. And this Lambo is a worthy opponent considering the stock car traps just under 130 miles per hour so with a decent tune it should be above that mark.

The cars are close but the 335 is able to edge the LP560-4. Keep in mind though that the LP560 cars with the 5.2 V10 do not gain as much with a tune as the 5.2 R8. To reverse this outcome the Lambo would need a full exhaust and a retune maybe with some higher octane gas. As it sits it is likely in the high 400's to the wheels probably around ~480 which would put it at less power than a well tuned RB turbo 335i with a JB4 running race gas. It is not known what tune the Lambo is running however.

      Great run, video below..

Jumping of a bldg would be ridiculous maybe you would but not me, I would tell one thing I WOULDNT dare to race that RICE BURNER again if he indeed roasted me Click here to enlarge
You scared GTR's what did you do almost crash into them? Click here to enlarge

What is the expected life of these engines? Granted blowing up a n54/n55 motor is not nearly as painful on the pocketbook as an S65 or the lambo v10 motor.
N54's running 500whp? About as reliable as one can ask for actually.... After 600whp? It's yet to be tested fully but so far, so good.

In fact I guarantee that stock lambo is way less reliable than a RB turbo 335

Def a lot more headaches (and expensive) to regularly maintain.... Also takes some DEEP pockets to DD a Lambo vs. a 335

Guy has a 335D and loves tuning diesel. It's like asking why some people have an N54 fascination. Tuning enthusiasm comes in all forms, why not respect his choice?

Sorry if that came off wrong. I fully respect his choice. Just when reading his posts I interpreted his continuous use of the all caps diesel has seeming it was almost inferior which it is not. That's all no harm meant.
