      Some sphyphotos here of a production ready BMW F32 4-Series coupe. The photos are not the best quality but reveal the production design elements which hold reasonably close to the 4-Series concept. The most glaring changes are the rear bumper which loses the aggressive design of the concept car which everyone obviously realized would be changed for production. The front bumper also loses the integrated LED's.

      The somewhat controversial new side vent made the cut. Overall, the car looks fairly restrained here in what appears to be 428i trim which will be the entry level US car with the N20 turbo four-cylinder. The 435i and M4 should be much more aggressive.

        Ehhh...expected. Dumbed down version of the concept car.

        I don't know if I like the new lights to be honest, and yes, those side vents detract from what it could have been =/

        I really wanted to like the new one. But I feel like it's trying too hard with all those creases and the disgusting side vents...

        Its only the 328....This car is a home run IMO, way better looking than anything audi and merc have in the same class....the 335 and m will be even better.

        i wonder if those cops/rent-a-fuzz gave the guy a hard time...

        Looks like owners of an LCI E92 don't have much reason to make a jump, at least from a design perspective.

        Look at the twin exhaust tips, this is a 435i not a 428i. I think the body looks pretty great, the front bumper isn't my favorite so I'm sure I'll like M Sport better but I'm really dying to see the M4!

        It's interesting to me that they've extended the roofline, it now meets the trunk behind the rear wheel (on the E92 it meets right above the wheel). The F32 almost has a fastback thing going on which makes it look less long and sleek, I think I like the looks of the E92 roofline a little better, but hopefully this means better headroom in the back seats which would be great.

        Those are expensive looking 19" wheels and twin exhaust pipes- very clearly a 435i. Not blowing me away at all. The E92 for now looks a lot better and cleaner and the A5/S5 is a far better looking car imo.

        Who the hell is running bmw design these days? The 6 series look good but everything else is either meh or practically smashing headlong into the ugly tree (3 and 5 series GTs). WTF.

        They should have made a unique front end like they did with the E90 vs. E92 (minus the M3). Why call this a 4-series when the front of the car clearly looks like a 3-series? Also, I suspect the "swoopy" roofline was to satisfy the need to distinguish between the coupe and the grand coupe, which should have a slightly less swoopy, and therefore, nicer looking roofline (like the 6series coupe vs. grand coupe).

        The F32 does "appear" to be wider than the F30, but that may just be the picture. Overall, I think I like it, but the sedan has better proportions.

        I like it.

        The reason for the same front ends now is most likely due to ease of production. Porsche did the same starting with the 996 body and all the purists were outraged, but it saved them quite a bit of $ in the long run.

        Very solid design. Will look very good with some aftermarket touches.

        Why even call it a 4 then though if you are not going to seriously differentiate it?
