      Hot on the heels of the Audi A3 sedan spyphotos the Audi S3 cabriolet spyphotos are making their internet rounds. This car will be based on the exact same 8V generation A3 chassis as the sedan but will obviously lose the four doors. Expect the convertible to mirror the S3 hatchback exactly featuring the same all wheel drive, seven speed S-Tronic dual clutch, and the 300 horsepower 2.0 liter direct injected turbocharged four-cylinder motor.

      Unlike the hatchback though the convertible will likely make its way to the United States since it loses the hatch proportions Audi claims US buyers are not fond of. So the new generation S3 will be available as a sedan and convertible. A four-door hatch instead of the two-door is also a possibility.
