• Weistec Stage I supercharged C63 AMG versus 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP-570-4 Superleggera from a stop and roll

      This video comes to us from the Middle East thanks to BenzBoost member Alrasheed1991. He has a Stage I Weistec supercharged C63 AMG which utilizes MHP tuning. One would think the supercharged C63 should crush a Gallardo Superleggera but this is the updated LP-570-4 version with the higher horsepower direct injected 5.2 liter V10 pushing 562 horses. It is a much, much faster car than the original 523 horsepower 2006 Superleggera.


      The Gallardo gets a jump (it gets the hit) in the roll on video and simply pulls away. Very impressive how fast it is. From a stop, the gap is even larger which is understandable considering the all wheel drive gives it a launch advantage. Impressive performance by the Superleggera. Probably time to upgrade to a Stage III supercharger setup with a 3.0 liter blower on the C63 and have a rematch.

        6200 cc + blower + rwd can't pull from a n/a awd.... Quite sad. The 570 on a roll is somewhere = with 997 turbo s pdk which is much lower on the power rating

        I don't view it as sad. C63 needs drag radials. Secondly, the LP 570-4 Superleggera is a very fast car.

        Well , I was harsh saying it's sad but I expected them to be pretty close to each other since the Gallardo has only the weight advantage which I know is a pretty important.

        Gallardo has weight and aero advantage. Also all wheel drive from a stop. The motor is also quite stout.
