• BimmerBoost spots the 2014 BMW X7 testing

      This certainly appears to be a very large BMW SUV and BMW's rival for the Mercedes-Benz GL 7-seat SUV. BimmerBoost spotted the car testing in the California mountains and photos were snapped when the car came to a stop. The test driver directly stated this was the 2014 X7. Not much has been released regarding this model but clearly one can see this is one very large BMW SUV and it looks bigger than the the recently spotted next generation F15 X5.

      It is logical for BMW to compete with Mercedes-Benz on all fronts especially in the lucrative SUV segment so a larger model above the X5 is not all that surprising. Hopefully it's safe to say there will be no M variant but with BMW these days who knows.

        Wow, I didn't even see that one in the background. I must've been tired from boarding all day at mammoth. Saw the car in Mohave and they were on they're way to Bishop. The gas station attendant says he sees them drive through there all the time. When they reach bishop, the cars are evaluated and sent for destruction.

        BMW has some catching up to do. The new GL-class is really nice. There is a reason Motor Trend named it SUV of the Year.

        Woah, I saw this truck in Malibu on Saturday. I was wondering WTF it was because it was too big to be an X5 but the swirl pattern camo is a BMW thing.

        BMW tests a ton of stuff in Malibu. I would run into their test cars all the time. When I ran into their M5 I was beyond pissed off I didn't have my M3.
