      The BMW 1M Coupe is not exactly something you would call slow. It's a respectable car in stock form but the video below shows the difference between a quick car and fast car. Not much of a race as the Porsche simply blows the 1M away like it is standing still. The 911 Turbo is a first generation 997 Turbo with a SpeedArt BTR600 package so likely just a tune and exhaust modifications. The 911 Turbo also has a manual transmission.

        Looks like the Turbo put a train length on the 1M though I am not surprised as to how.

        So the Porsche is aftermarket-tuned and the BMW is not ? Why don't they compare the maxed-out vs maxed-out cars or even better, similarly-priced modifications ? I am sure the 1M would do much better with a pair of RB turbos.

        BTR600 package has modified VTG turbo's , so not just exhaust and tune.

        Not even worth watching. Completely different cars and price ranges. God knows if the 1M even has a tune, not that it would have made any difference in the outcome anyways.

        I disagree. It's nice to see what a big difference in horsepower looks like especially from a car that isn't all that slow.

        Try all you want. You are not touching the top tuned 911's. Their 60-130 times are untouchable for any street BMW.

        Click here to enlarge depends what you mean top tuned...we don't really have maxed out N54s just yet running around..i was merely talking about this specific race which was great to watch but with a totally expected outcome given modifications on the two cars...given a similarly modified 1M (hybrid turbos, downpipes, intake, FMIC, E85 blend) it'd be a lot more interesting to watch that's for sure

        so a stock 1M vs a tuned 997 turbo with aftermarket turbos..thats probally almost a 300hp difference between the two cars..why bother?
