    • Eurocharged before and after E9X/E92 M3 S65 V8 custom dyno tune results - + 36 wheel horsepower

The S65 V8 responds very well to tuning and a quality custom dyno tune can extract quite a bit of power. Eurocharged was able to take an E92 M3 from a baseline of 339 rear wheel horsepower to 375 wheel horsepower with just tuning for a total gain of 36 rear wheel horsepower. This dyno tune done on a Dyno Dynamics in Houston. The Eurocharged name should be familiar from their Mercedes tuning but many likely don't realize they are able to do a custom dyno tune for just about anything.

That includes a BMW M3, Ferraris, Bentley GT's, Aston Martin's, basically you name it. Eurocharged has also been working with Underground Racing of Twin Turbo Gallardo fame. Great results and very well done, contact them at www.eurocharged.com if interested. Eurocharged also tends to have the most competitive tuning rates in the game today.

We actually do a decent amount of M3 and M5/M6 tuning... This is why.

Since the UGR Gallardo was mentioned, does Eurocharged do the tuning for their TT cars? Either way, solid gains on an N/A motor, 400 WHP is very realistic with a full exhaust + pulley

They do not do the TT tuning but they have a good relationship.

We don't do the complete tuning for the TT's We do a few things on those cars ecu wise, and the rest is standalone and boost by gear Click here to enlarge

Nice results!!! I'm sure the client is very happy with the power.

Did you guys get a chance to log any data when doing the dyno runs and tuning?

we have but most of the customers had that themselves as they are running data loggers. What are you looking for?

We are not cookie cutter tuners, and have full control of the ecu so we can customize the tune to just about anything your looking for.

Pardon my ignorance. Can you define "tuning"? What is done to extract almost 40 horsepower from a motor? I apolgize if this is proprietary information, but I really don't know what is involved in something like this. What "types" of things can you do to the motor to extract tremendous power like that? Is it all computerized magic, or do you literally adjust this screw here and that screw there? Thanks a lot, just trying to learn...

It's software and namely adjusting timing and air/fuel. Everyone with an NA tune is basically playing with the same parameters. It's a matter of experience and knowing the platform as far as how, when, and why you alter those parameters.

        Thanks for the reply Jake!

I was just very curious about the IAT and Ignition logs from the before/after dynos.

From my own personal experience, I know these cars tend to have a wide range of Ignition Targets and at the same time, being very sensitive IATs. Seeing endless amounts of dynos on different forums and websites, it's rather known that these cars dyno all over the place in regards to maximum values. Looking at popular online dyno databases and posts on all the big BMW forums, it is rather well known that stock E9X M3s can dyno in such a wide range.

If you're willing to share some data logging, it would be truly helpful in our quest in learning how these incredibly smart DMEs work. Totally understandable though if you prefer not to reveal what Ignition Targets you aim for. I just thought I would ask. Click here to enlarge

Great work as always! The pricing of your tune is unbeatable!
