So that means my OE-tuned c63 wouldve done this to the Ctsv..

A friend of mine is looking to trade in his bone stock C63 because he's getting a little "board" of it.. I keep kicking him in his a** telling him to tune the damn thing. I'm about to buy the OE Tune for him and flash it while he's not looking! Lol

In stock from the Cadillac CTS-V with its supercharged 6.2 liter LSA V8 is stronger than the standard C63 AMG (one without the P31 package). The difference on a dynojet is about ~100 wheel horsepower. The C63 is slightly lighter but is significantly detuned in stock form to protect the egos of the owners of the other 63 AMG models. With a tune however the C63 wakes up considerably as the video shows with the two cars basically neck and neck.

The C63 even with a tune still has less power than the CTS-V but the Eurocharged tune makes the cars quite even. The CTS-V has a passenger and a intake. The C63 is running just a tune. Impressive how the C63 keeps up with more powerful competition even though it does not have a supercharger like the CTS does.

not impressive if you figure that V was about 600 heavier than the c63....power to weight @Sticky ....dont matter if the cars are FI or not....basically why a stock z06 will walk a blown M3 600 kit

Whatever, blown 6.2 liter. Just makes the C63 look more impressive IMO.

3900lb car vs a 4200lb car...with no driver in either...doesnt matter what motor is in what...it will take more power for the 4200 lb car to beat the 3900 lb car...or for that matter keep up with it

It isn't a huge weight difference. Regardless, one car has forced induction and the other doesn't. Simple as that.
