    • Small film of a Porsche 962 race car driven around on the streets Japan

The Porsche 962 is a famous Porsche prototype race car that enjoyed various racubg success including private racing as well as securing an overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1986 and 1987. It is rare to see one let alone on public roads although 962's have been converted for street use as Dauer did with the 962 Le Mans road car.

The video below features a 962 but it is not an original race car or one of the converted road cars. It is essentially a replica although a faithful one built by Vern Schuppan who used to race for Porsche. The video is very well done and includes a bit of history as well as the specs. Definitely worth watching for any Porsche fan not to mention how cool it is to see car like this on public streets.
