    • USP Motorsports VR6 swapped B5 S4 hits 9.5@152 in the 1/4 mile

Congratulations to USP Motorsports who set a new personal quickest time with their run of 9.547@152.43 in the 1/4 mile with their VR6 swapped B5 S4. This was done at the NDIMA Imports versus Domestics drag racing event. The car is likely capable of more but is limited by certain class rules such as a minimum weight of 3200 pounds. Regardless, running mid 9's is incredibly impressive and there is something very awesome about a B5 with parachute.

The timeslip is below. Unfortunately, no video of the run has been posted but previous videos can be found here. Once again, congrats to USP Motorsports and nicely done.

And I was there to experience it. The car is amazing. It was first run of the day, number one qualifier..The car has a 9.4 in it for sure if they get that 60' down a tad bit more..Like you said Sticky, unfortunately it's limlited because of class rules..The car could easily be an 8 second car if it wasn't for that..

What would they be able to change aside from the weight for example if they were not limited in the class?

other than weight and interior/body panels being one of the biggest..they are limited in turbo size, which is another big factor. For their class and AWD 6 cylinder platform, they can't have anything bigger than a 67mm turbo, and no nitrous. Minimum vehicle weight for them is 3150 pounds.

Well damn. I'd throw on some 88mm beast with some nitrous and fly into the 8's. Bummer on the regulations...

yeah...that's a whole different class above them...they could easily push 8's out of this car..that would be crazy..
