This video comparison comes to us from Brazil courtesy of Full Power Magazine. These two cars grace the cover of their August issue. The M3 has a VF650 supercharger kit and
we have seen the weaker VF620 put down 521 wheel horsepower on 91 octane. The exact modifications on the CTS-V are not given but it is stated to have around 650 horsepower as well with Hennessey upgrades so likely just a tune, pulley, and exhaust upgrade.
The numbers in the video are given in CV (cheval vapeur) units which is a French unit of power measure that closely correlate with horsepower units. 1 CV is .986 horsepower. On paper according to the magazine the cars have similar horsepower. In practice, the M3 dusts the CTS-V rather easily. Kind of surprising to see the M3 pull this hard on a tuned CTS-V which is why we would like to have the exact specs the Caddy.
We also do not know which transmission the M3 has but we assume the dual clutch trans.
