      The AMS M157 Twin Turbo V8 tune sure seems to look like a potent option for the new 63 AMG motors. The video below shows an AMS tuned CLS63 AMG at the drag strip running a stock C63 AMG, a Mustang GT500, and a Nissan GTR. The strip is PBIR (Palm Beach International Raceway) in Florida and the summer heat has a big influence on the times with the stock C63 managing only a 12.8@109.


      The CLS63 in the run versus the C63 pulls a [email]12.0@123 obviously off what it is capable of as well. Just goes to show how dramatic of an effect weather can have. It's nice to see these results though as people are becoming way too conditioned towards record times in the winter as if they apply every single day.

      After the C63 AMG the CLS63 runs the GT500. The Mustang is stock and has a very poor run putting up a 13.3@107. The CLS63 improves however to an [email]11.8@123 .

      The final run is from a 2012 GTR and we do not know if it is tuned or stock. The trap speed in the heat leads us to believe it has a tune. It puts down a very impressive 11.1@125 and the CLS63 gets its best launch turning an [email]11.5@123 . We would expect the CLS to be capable of very low 11's possibly a high 10 in better weather.         Tap speed on the M157 CLS was always at 123mph. This is very Impressive with street tires and this time of year. What track was this?
