• BMW to release a hotter S1000RR HP4 edition for homologation purposes?

The BMW S1000RR is an absolutely awesome high performance bike that BMW Motorrad created in part to race in the Superbike World Championship. It is this continued desire to race in various series that has led to this HP4 edition. The bike has the same power output as the standard S1000RR but with a different torque map, dynamic dampening control, launch control, and lighter weight.

31 pounds have been shaved off thanks to lighter wheels, a titanium exhaust, lighter sproket bearer, and a lighter battery. No word on pricing or if it will make it to the United States. One of the best sport bikes in the world just got better.

Would you still stick with a Suzuki? Or a Yamaha R6? Been doing research for the past year on which bike to get, but a guy at work has a BMW K 1300 S which looked awesome.
