• Hamann updates its Panamera Turbo Cyrano tuning program for 2012

This is the Panamera Cyrano tuning program from Hamann. Hamann has revised the body kit giving the front fascia larger air intakes and including the oh so trendy LED's that everyone else is. The extended fenders have also been widened. An optional carbon fiber hood rounds out the package. The engine output is bumped up to 603 horses (although no dyno is provided). We doubt this will be a very popular kit or package in the United States where superior power options exist for less money as well as many other body piece options.

It certainly has been a while since we have seen something special from Hamann. Not a bad effort, certainly.

Hamann really lost it. in 80's and 90's their stuff was top notch but now it just makes kits for rich people with absolutely no taste at all. I like their parts for the F10 M-Sport though. Also they used do cool things to the engines too but not anymore.

I see them as more of a body kit / wheel manufacturer than a performance tuner.

This is what bothers me. You know the first turbo E30 M3 was from Hamann. Their were selling E30's with M88 engine. They had were selling E36 tourings with turbo'd S50B30 euro in the engine bay. The only tuner dared to touch F40 was Hamann, But what about now? They just do software changes and sell Remus exhaust under their name. From those era tuners, only Racing Dynamics is left and even they are not as great as they used to be.

All about style and money over substance. They are no longer a big tuning player IMO and have fallen off. They just want to sell body kits and rims, that's fine I guess.

Hamann was first iirc. It was early 1988 that the very first M3 turbo car came out. You could find the car on almost all magazines from West Germany.

One of the few cars in the world that can honestly be called ass ugly. This tack on looking kit makes it worse IMO
