The mainstream finally starts to get it - Jalopnik writes article on the death of the BMW M brand

BimmerBoost has really been the only site critical of BMW's latest moves. We are seeing a disturbing trend of the M brand being watered down with the badge thrown on everything in sight.
We have seen M cars get bloated with weights spiraling out of control and electronics dominating the driving experience. BMW is
losing comparison after comparison. It finally took the latest "special" edition M3 to get a major auto blog to call out BMW for the same thing we have already been saying. Jalopnik says BMW just launched a track edition M3 that offers no performance improvement over the standard car.
Sound familiar?

At least somebody is commenting on what we have been saying for some time now. Check out the
full article here. And ladies and gentlemen, this is only the beginning. Slowly but surely others will start to see it. M is dead.
