DTM 2012 - Mercedes victorious Norisring, extends 1st place overall lead on Audi and BMW - Race results

Mercedes continues to excel in the 2012 DTM season. They were already in first place in the manufacturer standings heading into today's race and with the victory plus finishing in 3 out of the top 5 spots they have extended their lead on Audi and Mercedes considerably. BMW had a fine showing taking two spots on the podium with 2nd and 3rd place finishes. BMW will now pass Audi who had a poor race with only one top 10 finish for second place in the manufacturer standings.

The next race is on the 15th of July at the Olmpiastadion. DTM will once again be doing stadium racing.
