    • GIAC tuned tiptronic 997.1 Porsche 911 Turbo hits 529 all wheel horsepower on 91 octane with Champion Motorsport 68mm turbos

This is a 997.1 Porsche 991 Turbo with the Tiptronic (automatic) transmission. Modifications include Champion Motorsport 68mm Variable Turbine Geometry turbos, AWE exhaust, and a custom GIAC tune. The baseline was 385 all wheel horsepower stock on a Mustang MD-500 dyno. With the turbos, software, and exhaust the car put down 529 to the wheels a gain of 144 all wheel horsepower. This is all on 91 octane pump gas.

The Tiptronic transmission was also reflashed by GIAC for quicker shifts. Definitely impressive results on pump gas. On race gas these turbos have seen just under 700 wheel horsepower.

Well you can likely get the turbos themselves. Champions package price is overpriced IMO at 26k+

That looks like a VERY torquey power curve (awesome).

I can imagine that would be a VERY drivable car (highway or else) - just nail it, no need to shift unless you are up against a GT-R or something.

I still am hoping to get a Porsche one of these days - it would be the next logical step if the next M3 fails (BMW - READ THIS).
