In the 1/4 mile the 997 Turbo is pulling 138 mile per hour traps whereas the Aventador is at 127 miles per hour. By the mile the 997 Turbo is at 199.3 miles per hour to the Aventador's 184.1 miles per hour. Clearly the Switzer 997 Turbo is the more powerful car here by a good margin which is no surprise considering the R911 package has dyno'd 851 horsepower to the wheels on a Mustang Dyno with race gas (posted below).

Switzer R911 997 Turbo with claimed 950 horsepower takes on a Lamborghini Aventador in a mile drag race
The 950 horsepower claim here is at the crank for the 997 Turbo and with how it pulls away from the Lamborghini Aventador we have no reason to doubt it. The race is in the rain (not recommended obviously) and the Aventador seems to get out of the hole better. The 997 Turbo just flat out pulls away though up top and dusts the Aventador through the traps at the 1/4 mile and 1 mile mark.
