      BMW seems to be set to majorly expand their lineup copyrighting new model names such as the X2, 2 Series, M7, and M10. The 2 Series is no surprise really as we all knew it was coming. It will essentially be the successor to the E82 1 Series in the United States. The X2 is a bit of a surprise but we would guess this would be an X6 style SUV based on the X1. The M7 we already told you was being considered and finally everyone else is catching up to our report.

      The real question mark here is what could the M10 be? Well, we unfortunately have a sneaking suspicion this would finally be the M supercar. This means the name M1 will likely be used with the new 1 Series as BMW has already gotten close to it with their new M135i. So, somewhat sad that BMW will let the history associated with the M1 name go but it does give us hope we will finally get a supercar from BMW.

        Just because they copywrote M10 doesnt mean they are going to make it, it just means they dont want anyone else taking the name. They want it on the back burner.

        They should build this with a tweaked S70/2 with flat crank plane or a de-stroked S85 with 9500 RPM redline.
